BNNLive

BNNLive is a series of innovative, live studio programs with call-in capability. Programs are produced by nonprofit organizations and public agencies to inform Boston residents of their services and programs. All technical production is done by BNNLive staff. Detailed information about how your nonprofit organization can benefit from programming on BNNLive can be found on our Community Resources page, under "Have BNN Create a TV Program for You."

Cablecasting close to 50 live programs each week, BNNLive offers a culturally diverse lineup of programs for the viewing audience. BNNLive also cablecasts comprehensive coverage of local elections, information on Boston's art scene, and programs about neighborhood events.  

Boston Neighborhood Network News (BNN News)

BNN News combines the local talents of neighborhood correspondents, long-standing reporters, freelance contributors, student interns and a core staff to create an in-depth news program that is devoted exclusively to Boston issues. Produced at Boston University's College of Communications, the half-hour program is cablecast Monday through Friday at 5:30, 9:30 and 11:00 pm. The program reaches beyond breaking news to bring you stories that are rarely available on other local television venues. Reports cover economic development, politics and the environment... housing, healthcare and education... youth programs, sports and the arts... and much, much more. (Scheduling note: Because of BNN News' reliance on student help, programming is suspended before the beginning of the fall and spring semesters).

The BNN News companion website, www.nnnonline.org, is a continuation of the news and provides links to other sites of interest. It also allows viewers to post their concerns and suggestions on the Neighborhood Forum page.

Special Programming

BNN is frequently hired to cover community and business events. These are special programs produced and crewed by BNN staff, and cablecast on the News & Information Channel.
